Jan Flatin is an administrative assistant at the Center for Rural Health (CRH) at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks.
In this position, Jan oversees various grant programs with the goal of providing support to indigenous communities, including the Seven Generations Center of Excellence, National Indigenous Elder Justice Initiative (NIEJI), NIEJI Innovation, and the HOPE Project. She is responsible for tracking grant progress and accomplishments and providing application preparation and support.
Before joining the Center full time, Jan worked for UND’s departments of University & Public Affairs and Ceremonies & University Events. She is originally from Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
